Concord Control Systems has won its first KAVACH 4.0 order worth Rs. 19.45 Crores from South Central Railway, Secunderabad, routed through its associate company Progota India Private Limited. The scope covers design, development, supply, installation, trial and commissioning of on-board KAVACH equipment, with execution required within 18 months. The company's in-house developed system has already received Indian Railways product approval and cleared roughly 70% of the demanding SiL4 third-party safety certification process. Management noted that competing new entrants typically need 3–5 years to reach this technology and certification stage, giving Concord a meaningful first-mover advantage in railway safety electronics.
