Concord Control Systems has secured its first order for KAVACH 4.0, India's automatic train protection system, valued at INR 19.45 crore through its associate company Progota India Private Limited. The order covers design, development, supply, installation, trial and commissioning of on-board KAVACH equipment in locomotives and trackside KAVACH equipment for South Central Railway. The system is fully developed in-house, giving the company a strong first-mover advantage, as new entrants typically take 3-5 years to reach this stage. Approximately 70% of the demanding SiL4 safety certification has already been completed.
This is a landmark order that positions Concord as one of the few companies with a fully approved Kavach system ready for large-scale deployment across Indian Railways. It strengthens the company's growth visibility and establishes credibility for capturing future railway safety orders.
