Cosmic CRF's 91.7% subsidiary, Cosmic Springs & Engineers Limited (CSEL), has taken physical possession of a 0.82-acre freehold industrial land at Mouza Baniara, Domjur, Howrah, West Bengal on September 16, 2025 for a new greenfield manufacturing plant. The project will manufacture forging components used in railways and defense, including items like Yoke Pin Support, Back-stop, Strut, Lock Lift Liver Hook, Knuckle Thrower and casnub springs, with a proposed installed capacity of around 11,000 TPA. Manufacturing is expected to commence within 6 months. CSEL, incorporated in June 2024, reported a turnover of Rs. 8.32 crore in FY25 with paid-up capital of Rs. 1.77 crore.
This marks the initiation of a greenfield capacity expansion in the subsidiary, which could drive future revenue growth once production begins in about 6 months; near-term impact is limited as the plant is not yet operational and no capex quantum has been disclosed.
