Cyber Security Incident Affects Insider Lens Application

Insilco Ltd, which is already under voluntary liquidation since June 2021, reported a suspected ransomware attack on the server hosting its Insider Lens application. Files with an unusual '.unlck4u' extension and Windows errors were detected. The affected server has been isolated, formatted, and is being reinstalled with a clean operating system. Backups have been verified successfully. Due to the outage, the company could not file the closure of its trading window by the September 28 deadline and will complete the filing once systems are restored.
