Cyient's board approved acquiring over 65% stake in US-based power semiconductor firm Kinetic Technologies through its subsidiary Cyient Semiconductors Singapore. Total cash consideration is up to USD 93 million. Kinetic, founded in 2006, specialises in analog and mixed-signal IC design and is expected to post USD 41 million revenue in CY25. The deal targets custom power IC leadership for Edge AI and high-performance compute markets, with completion expected by April 30, 2026.
Strengthens Cyient's semiconductor portfolio and exposure to fast-growing AI and power IC markets, though the deal is material and carries integration risk.
