Datamatics Global Services has bought the remaining 20% equity stake in Dextara Digital Private Limited (now called Dextara Datamatics) for a base consideration of Rs. 33.55 crore. The company had earlier acquired an 80% stake in April 2024, and with this final purchase, Dextara has become a wholly owned subsidiary. The first tranche of Rs. 17.87 crore was paid on June 20, 2025, with the remaining Rs. 15.68 crore to be paid by March 31, 2026, plus a contingent amount linked to business targets. Dextara is a Salesforce Platinum consulting partner with FY25 turnover of Rs. 53.06 crore and operations in India and the US. The acquisition is in line with Datamatics' strategy to grow its non-linear, hyper-scaler-focused business.
This is a completion of a phased acquisition and not a new transaction, so the stock price impact may be limited. However, full ownership gives Datamatics 100% of Dextara's profits and greater control over its Salesforce business, which aligns with the company's growth strategy.
