DCM Shriram's board approved an additional equity investment of up to Rs 18 crores for obtaining about 10 MW of renewable power for its Bharuch Plant. Total approved equity investment now stands at Rs 105 crores, aimed at securing about 58 MW of additional renewable power. Bharuch Plant's total renewable power supply will rise to around 108 MW. This follows the board's earlier approval dated 12th March 2026.
Positive for sustainability profile of Bharuch Plant. Investment spread across tranches, limited near-term financial impact.
