Avasara Finance Ltd has informed the BSE about a change in its board composition effective October 9, 2025. Mr. Korodi Sanjay Prabhu, a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director (since May 22, 2018), has resigned citing personal commitments and stepped down from six board committees including Audit, Nomination & Remuneration, Risk Management, Investment, IT Strategy, and Stakeholders Relationship. In his place, Mr. Eugene Oommen Koshy has been appointed as Additional Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. Mr. Eugene brings around 26 years of experience in growth management, business development, strategic planning, and acquisitions. The new director has confirmed he is not debarred from holding office by SEBI or any other authority.
This is a like-for-like board reshuffle replacing one Non-Executive Non-Independent Director with another, with no governance red flags or operational disruption indicated. The change is unlikely to materially affect the stock price or shareholder interests in the near term.
