DEE Development Engineers has secured a ₹58 crore contract to manufacture alloy steel seamless pipes for a joint venture of an Indian and foreign conglomerate in the power sector. This is the company's first contract in the seamless pipe segment and will be executed at its upcoming seamless forged pipe plant in Anjar, Gujarat, which is nearing commissioning. Manufacturing is scheduled to be completed by December 2026. The company also mentioned cumulative order momentum this quarter, including a prior LoI exceeding USD 40 million for HRSG piping supply to a U.S. OEM and over ₹170 crore in domestic and Thailand orders across fabrication, HRSG piping, and fittings.
This is a milestone order for a new business vertical and demonstrates demand validation even before the Anjar plant is fully operational. The seamless pipe capability strengthens DEE's backward integration, reduces import dependence, and could support revenue and margin expansion in the energy infrastructure segment.
