Delhivery has partnered with EV startup RIDEV to deploy 150 high-performance electric vehicles across North East India, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad over the next three months. This adds to Delhivery's existing fleet of nearly 1,000 EVs. An EV-as-a-Service leasing model will help delivery partners switch without high upfront costs. Pilots in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru cut CO2 by 4,260 Kg and lowered daily rider costs by over 50%. Expansion is planned for Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, and Goa.
Positive for ESG profile; lowers delivery costs long-term and supports decarbonisation. No immediate financial impact disclosed.
