On the reaction day the stock moved 8.3 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 7.7 pts more than its Other Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Diamond Power Infrastructure received a Letter of Award worth Rs 179.43 crore (inclusive of GST) from Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited for supply of specialised medium voltage and low voltage underground cables. The order covers about 871 km of 33 kV and 11 kV MV cable with associated 1.1 kV LV cable, built with water-tree retardant insulation for Mumbai's coastal conditions. This is the third consecutive year DPIL has secured this contract. Deliveries will run at about 50 km per month once manufacturing clearance is issued.
Positive for order book; repeat mandate from a key Mumbai utility strengthens DPIL's standing in specialised MV cables. Track execution.
