On the reaction day the stock moved 3.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.8 pts less than its Other Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
DICABS will add a new CCV line at its Vadodara plant to make XLPE power cables up to 132 kV. Investment of Rs 25 crore from internal accruals. Currently has 6 CCV lines and about 2,000 km per year EHV capacity at 60 percent utilisation. Machinery delivery by August 2027, commissioning by December 31, 2027. Move aims to meet rising demand from state utilities, transmission developers, renewable energy parks, and data centers.
Capacity expansion signals demand growth; self-funded so no dilution risk. Positive long-term but commissioning over a year away.
