Dilip Buildcon Limited has received a Letter of Intent from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), acting on behalf of the Government of Karnataka, for establishing a 400 kV sub-station at Mekhali along with associated transmission lines in Belagavi District, Karnataka. The company will acquire 100% equity of the Project SPV and act as the Transmission Service Provider on a BOOT basis under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding route, with a 35-year concession period from the Commercial Operation Date. The EPC value for DBL (excluding GST) is approximately ₹1,850 Crore, to be executed within 24 months. The order is domestic and not a related-party transaction.
This is a sizeable order win (roughly 20% of DBL's typical annual revenue) that strengthens the order book and provides long-term revenue visibility through the 35-year concession, likely viewed positively by investors.
