On the reaction day the stock moved 0.9 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.0 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Dilip Buildcon's joint venture with RBL (DBL-RBL JV) has received a Letter of Acceptance from Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) for the construction of the Gurugram Metro Corridor. The project involves building viaducts, 14 elevated stations, a spur to Dwarka Expressway, and related infrastructure covering 15.22 km in total. The contract is valued at Rs. 1,503.63 crores (including GST) and is awarded on an item-rate (L1) basis. The work must be completed within 30 months, and the order has been secured from a domestic government entity with no related-party involvement.
This is a significant new order win that strengthens DBL's order book and provides revenue visibility over the next 30 months. The contract from a government-backed metro authority adds to DBL's urban infrastructure portfolio and is likely to be viewed positively by the market.
