Dixon Technologies has incorporated a new joint venture called Lightanium Technologies Private Limited in partnership with Signify Innovations India Limited (the global lighting major behind the Philips brand). The JV was incorporated on 26th June 2025, and Dixon has paid its subscription money of Rs. 2.5 crore (for 25 lakh equity shares of Rs. 10 face value at par), acquiring a 50% stake. Lightanium will operate as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of lighting products and accessories in India. The partnership combines Dixon's manufacturing expertise with Signify's leadership in the lighting industry, aiming to strengthen Dixon's presence in India's lighting business ecosystem.
This JV expands Dixon's footprint in the lighting segment by partnering with a global leader, potentially adding a new revenue stream. The Rs. 2.5 crore investment is small relative to Dixon's size, so the financial impact is limited, but the strategic significance of tying up with Signify is positive for long-term growth in the lighting vertical.
