Dixon Technologies has completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Kunshan Q Tech Microelectronics (India) Private Limited (Q Tech India) for an aggregate consideration of about INR 55.3 crore. The deal involved purchasing 16,150,943 equity shares from Q Tech Singapore and Kunshan Q Technology International for around INR 42.8 crore, and subscribing to 4,716,981 fresh shares for about INR 12.5 crore. Post-transaction, Q Tech Singapore holds the remaining 49%. Dixon has also executed a Shareholders' Agreement with Q Tech Singapore to govern management and inter-se shareholder rights, including board nomination rights tied to shareholding thresholds of 28% and 14%. The closing formalities were completed on September 26, 2025, and the transaction is not a related party transaction.
This expands Dixon's footprint into the microelectronics segment through a controlling stake in Q Tech India, complementing its existing electronics manufacturing business. The deal size of around INR 55.3 crore is modest relative to Dixon's overall scale, so the immediate financial impact is limited, but it could be a strategic move to strengthen capabilities in optics/camera modules and related components.
