On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.8 pts more than its Consumer Electronics peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Dixon Technologies has agreed to acquire 51% of Kunshan Q Tech Microelectronics for INR 5.53 billion in cash. Q Tech Singapore will retain 49%, making the target a joint venture. The target makes camera and fingerprint modules for phones, connected devices and vehicles. Its FY25 turnover was INR 1,977.21 crore. Completion is targeted within 90 days, subject to conditions and approvals, and may support faster technology transfer.
Control may boost Dixon's manufacturing reach and synergies, but the INR 5.53 billion cash outlay and closing risk may pressure near-term returns.
