Dreamfolks Services Limited has appointed Mr. Shekhar Sood as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from April 30, 2025, following approval by the Board of Directors on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and Audit Committee. Mr. Sood brings over 19 years of finance leadership experience, with his most recent role being CFO of Bajaj Capital Group, and prior stints at Ambuja Cements, Socomec India, CLAAS, and Grant Thornton. He is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and an ISB executive alumnus, and has been recognised as a Visionary Leader – 2024 and Best Technology-Driven CFO of the Year – 2024. Additionally, the Board has authorised Mr. Sood, alongside the Company Secretary, to determine materiality of events and make disclosures to stock exchanges as per SEBI LODR Regulations.
The appointment of an experienced CFO with strong IPO, fundraising, and corporate governance credentials could boost investor confidence and support the company's financial discipline.
