EaseMyTrip unit EMTev launches electric buses in Bhopal, eyes 5,000 yearly

EaseMyTrip's electric mobility arm EMTev debuted its electric buses in Bhopal under its Vision 2030 roadmap, backed by the Madhya Pradesh government. Its 12 metre and 13.5 metre bus models have already received type approval. The 12 metre seater coach carries 45 plus D passengers, uses a 423.9 kWh LFP battery, and offers up to 350 km range and 100 km/h top speed with dual gun fast charging. EMTev plans to manufacture 5,000 electric buses annually within five years and is localising components. No order values or revenue numbers were disclosed.
