Canara Bank filed an insolvency petition against Embassy Developments on June 9, 2025. NCLT admitted the petition on December 9, 2025, triggering Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process. NCLAT granted a stay on the NCLT order on December 11, 2025. Following the NCLT order, BSE and NSE placed the stock under Additional Surveillance Measure and shifted it to the BE segment (Trade-to-Trade settlement) from December 16, 2025. The company is asking exchanges to remove the stock from surveillance.
NCLT insolvency admission was stayed by NCLAT, but stock remains under exchange surveillance, restricting trading flexibility.
