Emcure's subsidiary Marcan Pharmaceuticals has acquired all Class E Special Shares in Mantra Pharma Inc., its Canadian step-down subsidiary, for CAD 50 million in cash. Mantra markets and distributes prescription drugs and natural health products in Canada, with FY26 turnover of CAD 96.67 million, up from CAD 81.01 million in FY25. This is a buyout of preferred shareholders remaining from the 2023 amalgamation; Mantra stays 100 percent owned by Marcan. No government approvals needed, deal completes today.
Consolidates full ownership in Canadian step-down subsidiary. CAD 50 mn cash outflow, but no new revenue impact as Mantra was already part of the group.
