Emcure Pharmaceuticals acquired 4,095,180 shares of Zuventus Healthcare, representing the remaining 20.42%, for Rs 7,249 million in cash. The shares have been credited to Emcure's demat account, taking ownership to 100%. Zuventus reported FY2025 turnover of Rs 10,798.99 million and profit after tax of Rs 1,347.82 million. This was a related-party purchase from individual shareholders.
Emcure gains full ownership and all earnings from Zuventus, but faces a Rs 7.249 billion cash outflow and related-party transaction risk.
