Emkay Global Financial Services reported audited results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Standalone total income rose to Rs. 339.66 crore (from Rs. 283.40 crore in FY24), while standalone profit after tax jumped to Rs. 58.91 crore (from Rs. 24.47 crore), more than doubling year-on-year. Consolidated PAT also grew to Rs. 56.83 crore (from Rs. 32.44 crore). The board recommended a dividend of Rs. 4 per share (Rs. 1.50 normal + Rs. 2.50 special dividend), subject to shareholder approval. Both Managing Directors, Krishna Kumar Karwa and Prakash Kacholia, have been re-appointed for a fresh 3-year term effective October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2028, subject to shareholder approval. The board also appointed M/s Parikh & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for a 5-year period (FY26–FY30) and approved an amendment to the Articles of Association. The statutory auditor S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP issued an unmodified opinion on the financial results.
Strong earnings growth, a healthy dividend payout, and continuity in top leadership are positive signals for shareholders. Re-appointment of both MDs removes any near-term succession uncertainty, while the strong earnings beat reflects improving business momentum in the broking and financial services franchise.
