Emrock Corporation has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL), a Gujarat state electricity distribution company. Under the deal, Emrock will set up and supply 4 MW of solar power to UGVCL under the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy 2023. Power generation is expected to commence on or before 31 December 2025. The agreement is expected to generate approximately 77 lakh units per year at Rs. 2.76 per unit, translating to roughly Rs. 2.13 crore in annual revenue, or about Rs. 53 crore over the 25-year contract life. The order is domestic and there is no related-party interest involved.
This is a stable, long-term recurring revenue stream from a government-backed utility, which provides revenue visibility for the next 25 years. For a small-cap company, securing a government PPA is a positive fundamental signal and may support the stock sentiment, though the absolute revenue size remains modest.
