Enviro Infra Engineers' wholly owned subsidiary EIE Renewables Private Limited has acquired 49% stake in PRA Bihar Bess Private Limited for ₹15.51 crore, with an agreement to acquire the remaining 51% within 60 days of the project's Commercial Operation Date. The target company is a newly incorporated SPV (August 2025) set up to develop a 37.5 MW / 150 MWh Battery Energy Storage System project in Bihar, backed by Viability Gap Funding. The project has a signed power purchase agreement with Bihar state discoms at ₹4.44 lakh/MW/month for 12 years, with proposed capex of approximately ₹150 crore. PRA Bihar Bess has become a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of the listed company upon signing the agreement.
The acquisition strengthens Enviro Infra Engineers' presence in the renewable energy sector by expanding its BESS portfolio. The deal is not a related party transaction and is being funded through internal sources and bank financing. Completion is targeted by May 31, 2027.
