Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Equitas Small Finance Bank board approved issuing up to 50,000 unsecured, subordinated Lower Tier II Non-Convertible Debentures of face value Rs 1 lakh each, aggregating up to Rs 500 crores, on a private placement basis. The NCDs will be listed on BSE and will qualify as Lower Tier II capital under the Basel II framework. Coupon rate and tenure are yet to be decided by the Board.
Raises Rs 500 cr of debt capital to strengthen Basel II ratios; no equity dilution but adds future interest outflow for the bank.
