Eveready Industries India reported FY25 standalone revenue of Rs. 1,343.92 crores, up from Rs. 1,314.16 crores a year earlier, with profit after tax rising about 23% to Rs. 82.38 crores (FY24: Rs. 66.73 crores). EPS stood at Rs. 11.33 versus Rs. 9.18 in the previous year. The board recommended a dividend of Rs. 1.50 per share (30% on face value of Rs. 5), totalling about Rs. 10.90 crores, subject to shareholder approval. The board also appointed Mr. Anirban Banerjee, currently Senior VP & SBU Head (Batteries, Flashlights & Lighting), as Chief Executive Officer effective May 10, 2025 — an internal promotion. Additionally, MKB & Associates was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years, and two senior vice-presidents were designated as Senior Management Personnel. Auditors Singhi & Co. issued an unmodified opinion on the financial results.
Solid profit growth, higher dividend, and a clean audit opinion are positive for shareholders, while the internal CEO appointment suggests strategic continuity. The Rs. 171.55 crore CCI penalty (under appeal, shown as contingent liability) remains the key overhang to watch.
