AI summary

Everest Industries' Board has approved the sale of 23.32 acres of vacant land at Kurichi Village, Podanur, Coimbatore to G Square Realtors Private Limited for a total consideration of Rs. 133.85 crores. The company has already received the first tranche of Rs. 7 crores on signing of the term sheet on August 28, 2025. A second tranche of Rs. 8 crores is payable upon receipt of environmental clearance, with the remaining Rs. 118.85 crores due on execution of the sale deed, expected within 4 months or 3 months from environmental clearance. The company clarified that the land is vacant and excess, so the sale will not affect business operations.

Likely market impact

This is a non-core, one-time monetisation of surplus vacant land that brings in Rs. 133.85 crores to the company. Shareholders may view this positively as it unlocks value from an idle asset, though it is not expected to impact ongoing operations or recurring earnings.
