On the reaction day the stock moved 0.6 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.1 pts less than its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Northern TK Venture, an IHH Healthcare Berhad subsidiary, filed an updated letter of offer to buy up to 197,025,660 Fortis shares, 26.10% of expanded voting capital, at INR 170 per share, plus INR 53.80 interest for original shareholders (INR 223.80 each). Tendering runs Oct 20 to Nov 4, 2025. Maximum outlay: INR 44.09 billion. SEBI allowed the offer to restart on Oct 1, 2025 after a court-ordered pause.
Shareholders can tender at INR 170, or INR 223.80 for original holders. The price may anchor the stock, and IHH already controls Fortis.
