Gabion Technologies India Ltd has received material approval for its mechanically woven, double-twisted hexagonal wire mesh product for use in the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (Bullet Train) Project. The approval applies to the C3 package of the project, which is being executed by Larsen & Toubro Construction and covers a 135.45 km stretch including stations at Thane, Virar, and Boisar. The product was tested and certified by government-approved labs (ACE Test House and M E Testing Lab), passing stringent corrosion resistance (2,500 hours), salt spray (3,000 hours), and UV exposure tests as per IS 16014:2024 standards. This approval enables the company to participate in supplying products for the project's construction needs but does not yet represent a confirmed order with a specific value. As of September 30, 2025, the company had executed 33 projects worth ₹12,843.06 lakhs in the current financial year, largely from government and public sector clients.
Positive for the stock — this approval positions the company to win supply contracts for India's flagship bullet train project and strengthens its credibility for future large-scale infrastructure bids. However, no order value has been disclosed, so the actual revenue impact remains uncertain and dependent on subsequent supply orders.
