Garware Hi-Tech Films has started commercial production at a new PPF (Polyester/Protective Film) line at its Waluj plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, effective September 24, 2025. The new line was set up at an estimated cost of approximately Rs. 125 crores. It adds 300 Lakh Square Feet Per Annum (LSF/P.A.) of production capacity. This is part of the capacity expansion plan the company first announced on May 29, 2024, and was completed on schedule.
Positive for shareholders — the additional 300 LSF/P.A. capacity is a meaningful top-up to the company's film production volumes and should support revenue growth in the coming quarters. The Rs. 125 crore investment also signals management's confidence in demand for its films.
