Garware Hi-Tech Films' Board has approved a capacity expansion at its Waluj facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The company will add a new lamination line with 1,200 LSF/P.A. capacity, taking total planned capacity to 5,400 LSF/P.A. (from current 4,200 LSF/P.A.). The Rs. 191 crore project will be funded through internal accruals and is expected to be completed within 14 months. The expansion is driven by the existing plant operating at optimum capacity and the need to cater to future growth.
Positive signal for shareholders as the company is investing to grow its manufacturing capacity. The expansion is funded internally, indicating healthy cash flows, and should support future revenue growth once commissioned.
