Ginni Filaments board approved four capacity expansion projects totaling Rs. 132 crore. The largest is a new spun lace non-woven line at Panoli adding 10,000 MT (nearly doubling existing 11,000 MT capacity) at Rs. 94 crore, funded 75% via term loan. A 3 MW solar project at the same location (Rs. 13 crore) will provide captive power for the new line. Kitchen roll capacity at CPD Panoli will more than double to 74 lakh units, plus new medical products like gauzes and bandages (Rs. 10 crore). The cosmetic division at Haridwar will quadruple to 1,000 MT capacity (Rs. 15 crore). All projects are funded 25% internal accruals and 75% term loan, expected to be completed between December 2026 and April 2027.
The company is making a significant capital investment of Rs. 132 crore to expand across multiple segments. With existing capacity utilization above 90% for non-woven and 50%+ for cosmetics, these expansions position the company for growth in medical and cosmetic textiles while diversifying revenue streams. The near-doubling of spun lace capacity is the most material for future earnings.
