On the reaction day the stock moved 1.8 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.1 pts less than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

China drug regulator NMPA has approved Glenmark's RYALTRIS nasal spray for allergic rhinitis in adults and children. The approval came with zero supplementation requests, backed by a Phase III trial of 535 patients in China showing better efficacy than standard treatments. RYALTRIS is already approved in the US, EU, UK, Australia, South Korea and Russia. China sales will be handled by Grand Pharmaceuticals under an exclusive licensing deal. In FY25, the product was launched in 11 new markets and is now sold across 45 countries.
Positive for respiratory portfolio. China is called a priority market, but commercialization is via partner Grand Pharma, so revenue contribution may be gradual.
