Global Health Limited (Medanta) announced audited results for Q4 and FY25. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs. 32,041.46 million in FY25 from Rs. 29,747.24 million in FY24 (restated), a growth of about 7.7%. Standalone profit after tax dipped slightly to Rs. 4,615.28 million from Rs. 4,863.51 million, mainly because of a one-time exceptional charge of Rs. 498.96 million towards stamp duty on the merger of wholly-owned subsidiary Medanta Holdings Pvt Ltd. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.50 (25%) per equity share of face value Rs. 2, subject to shareholder approval. The Board also appointed Dr. Pankaj Dhamija as Senior Management Personnel designated as Hospital Director – Gurugram Unit. The company also reported expansion moves including new hospital projects in Pitampura (Delhi), Ranchi, and Guwahati.
Steady revenue growth and continued dividend are positives for shareholders, but the dip in net profit due to a one-time merger-related stamp duty and a relatively routine senior management appointment (not a board-level change) are unlikely to be major stock movers on their own.
