Goa airport subsidiary GGIAL won an appeal before TDSAT against AERA's December 2023 tariff order for Manohar International Airport. The tribunal set aside several issues covering consultancy costs, airport revenue and taxes, the tariff rate card and licence fees, and directed AERA to address them. The order applies to the tariff period ending March 2028.
The ruling strengthens GGIAL's position and could support airport tariff income, but AERA must follow the directions and the financial effect is not disclosed.
