Go Digit General Insurance has informed the stock exchanges about a change in its Appointed Actuary. Mr. Nikhil Kamdar tendered his resignation and ceased to hold the position at the close of business on 1st July 2025. Mr. Adarsh Agarwal, an existing Key Managerial Personnel who has been with the company since April 2017, has been appointed as the new Appointed Actuary effective 2nd July 2025. The Board approved the change on 28th March 2025 and the insurance regulator IRDAI cleared it on 2nd June 2025. Mr. Agarwal currently serves as Chief Actuary and Product Officer and has prior experience at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance.
This is a planned internal transition with no operational disruption, as the successor is a long-standing senior executive already familiar with the company's actuarial function. Limited impact expected on shareholders or the stock.
