On the reaction day the stock moved 1.4 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.2 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Alcon Builders and Engineers Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of GPT Infraprojects, has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder for a Rs 134.11 Crore order from Western Railway (CSTE). The contract covers survey, design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 4-aspect automatic block signalling with EI and digital axle counters on the Nagda-Ujjain-Tajpur, Phanda-Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Ujjain-Karchha and Mangliyagaon-Indore sections of Ratlam division. This is an L1 declaration, not yet a confirmed award.
Positive for order book; L1 status strengthens pipeline though formal contract award and execution risks remain pending.
