Granules India announced its US subsidiary Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc received a USFDA Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) with Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI) classification for its Chantilly, Virginia facility. The inspection ran from March 30 to April 3, 2026, with four Form 483 observations issued. VAI is the most favourable outcome, meaning no further regulatory action is required and the facility is deemed compliant.
Removes regulatory uncertainty for the US facility, allowing uninterrupted production and supply of US-marketed drugs.
