Grasim Industries, in collaboration with Lubrizol Advanced Materials India, inaugurated Phase 1 of its CPVC Resin manufacturing plant at Vilayat, Gujarat. Phase 1 has a planned capacity of approximately 50,000 metric tonnes per annum. This is part of a larger 100,000 MT single-site facility, billed as the world's largest single-site CPVC resin plant. Commercial production commencement will be communicated separately.
Expands Grasim's specialty chemicals footprint; positive for long-term revenue diversification beyond core fibres and cement businesses.
