Grauer and Weil (India) has signed an MoU with RENA Technologies GmbH of Germany on October 20, 2026, to form a Joint Venture Company. The JV will support the solar manufacturing value chain. Both parties will have equal rights in management and governance of the JV. RENA will license its intellectual property to the JV for a mutually agreed royalty or license fee. The deal is not a related party transaction, and no shareholding or size of agreement has been disclosed yet. Detailed terms will be finalised in definitive agreements to be executed later.
Entry into solar manufacturing through a JV with a German tech partner opens a new growth vertical, though deal economics are yet to be disclosed and final agreements are pending.
