Gravita India has launched a lithium-ion battery recycling plant at its existing facility in Mundra, Gujarat, with a capacity of 6,000 MTPA. The company invested about Rs. 14 Crores from internal accruals. The move supports its circular economy goals as EV adoption grows. Gravita operates 13 plants globally processing over 3.45 lakh MTPA and is present in 70+ countries.
New growth vertical in fast-growing EV recycling space, funded internally so no equity dilution. Positive for long-term growth story.
