Gravita India plans to add Copper Recycling capacity of 59,200 MTPA at its existing Mundra unit in Gujarat. The project requires an investment of about Rs. 64 crores, funded entirely through internal accruals. The capacity will be commissioned in phases by March 31, 2029. The company says the move strengthens its recycling capabilities and addresses growing domestic and international demand for sustainable copper products.
Diversifies into copper recycling, supports long-term growth, but full benefits will phase in over three years with no external funding risk.
