On the reaction day the stock moved 1.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.3 pts more than its Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
GSB Finance has undergone a complete board reshuffle after a change in control approved by the Reserve Bank of India. Mr. Vivek Kumar Singhal, a Chartered Accountant with 18 years of experience in share and securities investment, has been appointed as Managing Director for a 5-year term. Three new directors have joined: Mr. Kshitij Agarwal (Non-Executive), Mr. Hari Chand Mittal (Independent, ex-Union Bank of India General Manager with 37 years of banking experience), and Mrs. Sweta Pareek (Independent, MBA). Ms. Payal Jain has been appointed as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. The company has also shifted its registered office within Mumbai from Tamarind Lane to Andheri East.
This represents a full ownership and management transition, meaning new promoters are now in charge of the NBFC. Existing shareholders should expect a new strategic direction under fresh leadership, and the appointments will need shareholder approval at the next general meeting.
