Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) has appointed Shri Manoj Kumar Das, IAS as the new Chairman & Managing Director of the company, effective 1st November 2025. The appointment was made via a circular resolution of the Board dated 3rd November 2025, based on the nomination by promoter Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited (GSPC). Shri Manoj Kumar Das was already serving as a Director on the GSPL board and is currently the Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat. He is an IIT-Kharagpur graduate with extensive administrative experience across districts and departments, including a prior stint as Joint Managing Director of GSPC. The company confirmed he is not debarred from holding a directorship by any SEBI order and is not related to any existing director.
