GTL Infrastructure Limited's Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Ajit Shanbhag as the new Chief Financial Officer with effect from August 8, 2025. Mr. Shanbhag, aged 52, is a Chartered Accountant with 27 years of post-qualification experience in financial planning, budgeting, cost management, audit, and taxation, and has been associated with the company for over 18 years. Mr. Bhupendra Kiny will cease to be the CFO effective August 7, 2025, as he transitions to a new role within the company. The appointment was made based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee.
This is a smooth internal transition with the outgoing CFO moving to a new role within the company and a long-tenured internal executive stepping up as CFO, which should provide continuity in financial leadership and is likely to be viewed as neutral to mildly positive by shareholders.
