GNFC has appointed Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS as the new Managing Director with effect from September 9, 2026. He takes over additional charge of the post from Shri Rajkumar Beniwal, IAS, who has been transferred by the Government of Gujarat. Sanjeev Kumar is a 1998-batch IAS officer from the Gujarat cadre, currently serving as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He has over 27 years of experience across finance, energy, petrochemicals, environment, and urban development. His appointment as Additional Director and MD is subject to Board and NRC approval.
