On the reaction day the stock moved 0.9 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.4 pts more than its Commodity Chemicals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

GACL has partnered with Clean Max to set up a 75.9 MW wind and 84.34 MWp solar hybrid power project across four Gujarat sites (Kalikanagar, Aji Dahisarda, Rajula, Ghuntu). CleanMax will develop it in SPV mode, with 100% of the power consumed by GACL's Dahej and Vadodara units under a group captive structure. Split into two phases. Expected to generate 136.9 crore units of clean power yearly and cut CO2 emissions by about 2.64 lakh tons annually.
Positive for sustainability profile. May lower long-term power costs. No direct capex burden on GACL as CleanMax develops it in SPV mode.
