The Board of Directors approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. On a standalone basis, the company swung back to a net profit of Rs. 972 lakhs in FY25 from a loss of Rs. 19,588 lakhs in FY24, on revenue of Rs. 4,07,291 lakhs (up from Rs. 3,80,663 lakhs). The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 15.80 per equity share (158% on face value of Rs. 10), totaling Rs. 11,603.03 lakhs, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. M/s Samdani Shah & Kabra was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for 5 years, and M/s Talati & Talati LLP as Internal Auditor for 1 year. Additionally, Shri S J Haider, IAS (a Gujarat government nominee) was appointed as Additional Director, with a postal ballot planned for shareholder confirmation.
Return to standalone profitability and a generous 158% dividend payout are positive for shareholders. However, consolidated results remain in the red due to Rs. 13,496 lakh losses at the 60%-owned GNAL joint venture, and a post-balance-sheet technical halt at GNAL's plant (since April 22, 2025) is a near-term watch item.
