Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd proposes to set up an 850 TPD Greenfield Corn Wet Milling Plant at Hubli, Karnataka, with an investment of Rs 333 Crores funded through internal accruals. The plant will produce 400 TPD corn starch, 150 TPD sweeteners and 300 TPD feed ingredients. Commissioning is targeted for Q4 FY2029. Post expansion, Hubli capacity will rise to 1600 TPD, up from the existing 5600 TPD total. The company aims to reach 9000 TPD overall corn wet milling capacity by 2030.
Long-term capacity expansion signals growth, funded internally so no immediate dilution. Commissioning only by Q4 FY2029 keeps execution risk in play.
